Integration data sync

Learn how data synchronization works between Arnio and integrations.

How data sync works

When you install an integration, Arnio automatically syncs data between your connected platform and your Arnio workspace. This keeps your contact information, customer data, and interactions up-to-date across all platforms.

Sync direction

Data can sync in different directions:
  • One-way sync: Data flows from integration to Arnio (or vice versa)
  • Two-way sync: Data flows in both directions, keeping both platforms synchronized
  • Selective sync: Only specific data types or fields are synced

What gets synced

Common data that gets synced includes:
  • Contacts: Customer information and profiles
  • Messages: Conversation history and interactions
  • Events: Customer actions and behaviors
  • Custom properties: Business-specific data fields

Sync frequency

Data can sync:
  • Real-time: Updates happen immediately
  • Scheduled: Syncs occur at regular intervals (e.g., every hour)
  • On-demand: Manual sync when needed

Data mapping

When setting up integrations, you may need to map fields between platforms:
  • Standard fields: Names, emails, phone numbers
  • Custom fields: Business-specific properties
  • Event data: Actions and behaviors

Best practices

  • Monitor sync status: Check sync logs regularly
  • Handle conflicts: Set up rules for data conflicts
  • Review permissions: Ensure proper access rights
  • Test connections: Verify data accuracy after setup
