  2. Ensure each contact includes at least one identifier like a phone number or email
  3. Update subscription status for each contact based on their opt-in preferences for marketing messages
  4. Add contacts to lists or segments during or after import
  5. Visit the Contacts section to view details of your contacts, including import history and message activity
