# Journeys

Create automated customer journeys to guide your customers through personalized experiences.

Journeys allow you to automate customer interactions based on triggers, events, and conditions. Create custom paths that increase engagement and loyalty.

## What are journeys?

Journeys are automated workflows that send messages to customers based on their behavior, events, or scheduled triggers. They help you:

* **Automate follow-ups**: Send messages based on customer actions
* **Personalize experiences**: Create unique paths for different customer segments
* **Increase engagement**: Keep customers engaged throughout their lifecycle
* **Save time**: Automate repetitive marketing tasks

## Journey types

### Event-based journeys

Trigger journeys based on customer actions or events:

* Customer signs up
* Purchase completed
* Cart abandonment
* Profile update

### Time-based journeys

Schedule journeys for specific times:

* Welcome sequences
* Post-purchase follow-ups
* Re-engagement campaigns
* Birthday messages

### Conditional journeys

Create branches based on customer data:

* Segment by purchase history
* Filter by engagement level
* Personalize by preferences
